i have it going again i had to ftp remove the plugin completely and then site back up ftp plugin back then completely uninstall the plugin yet again  iv got so many emails from users now because they lost all there messages and now they will lost them again 

now i reinstalled the plugin   cpu throught the roof again 

deactivate plugin cpu still through the roof 

uninstall plugin cpu still through the roof 

ok iv got it going and settled down was server problem somthing stupid happened when update database i uninstalled it repaired the database and reinstalled it no problems 

cpu seams ok but on setting chat to on i have no dropdowns in console and few other things il have to deactivate plugins yet again 

ok default theme all plugins deactivated and still console drop down problem admin dropdowns

dev on and  well is lots problems   on the test site i got it going again am sick uninstall reinstall on main site

dev was not a smart idea has crashe deveything now

also on my main site i rolled back the plugin and now every profile can not be found 
deactivat the plugin can see profiles

on my main site iv gorn back to 1.6 mail and chat stuff the 1.7 message plugin

3 atempts at install new message plugin 3 times complete crash the site

it seams to be a make directory problem 

what folders need 777 for the plugin

iv fully reinstall the test site it runs fine, the main site same full delete reinstall 
am waiting on a couple hundred thousand images to re upload to photos. 
messages still has speed problems but i see another update but so far all is good 
lots of stuff is working now 

90% of all my problem seams to of been folder file owners/ permissions 
do to a server mover and the whole thing unpacked by root 

Yes, we are aware of the issue with the message plugin, it is due to the conversation amount. Our developers are dealing with the issue. I will be solved asap. 

Don't remove it from plugins and DB Tammy ,if you or thinking about doing a fresh install ,I removed my photo plugin to do a fresh install,and after doing a fresh install i cant get it to work,no matter what i do. 

no is more then that i uninstaled it  so all messages removed is slow from amount of friends 

on test site no friends loads good  on main site 1000 friends takes 40 seconds to load 
10 second page loads 30 more for chat to fully load
same on mailbox page 

2000 friends  1 and half minutes to load
