How can I delete chat or turn it off at bottom of page ?because if members would like to be hidden they can be found here

You go to message settings and change from mails+chats, to mails only.

But is there a way for a user to turn off chat if he does not want to be available for chat?

Having the ability for users to turn off and on their own chat function is a nesessary and quite obvious function.I am asking is there a way for a user to turn off chat for just him

In the meantime this is considered as a custom code modification. You're free to do that on your own or hire a programmer. You can do that here: http://www.oxwall.org/market/specialists
Also you can make a post in the custom code modification section of the forum, probably some community member will assist you with that.
