Version 1.7 Bugs and troubles | Forum

Hello,

until now I was quite hesitant to update to version 1.7 - after reading about the troubles with the new message/chat plugin, the photo plugin etc.

Can anybody who has thouroughly tested it (on a site with actually a good number of users!) give a little summary of what is still not working right?

I don't want to update if it means having to deal with bugs and problems... Like it is said: "Never change a running system"... lol

Thank you for your help and advice.

i am the same as you i wont update due to the high cpu on messages and other errors etc others having been getting, my conclusion is to wait until the message plug in doesnt crash shared servers then pay skalfa to update the site that way they will be fixing any errors such as the e500php some have been getting should my site encounter it, or restoring the site back to 1.6 if something goes horribly wrong, but for now i will wait and keep waiting
