Same issue, cannot receive rego confirmation emails, been arguing with my Provider all night..  

Tried SMTP - Reported successful, but still no confirmation email
Tried GMAIL, YAHOO, and Bigpond accounts.
Hoster is Fastcomet !

anyone help please !

BTW Mass Mailer works fine !!
