Has anyone else lost the abitlity to embed a video into the newsfeed?

I know its probably something really simple but I have no idea what setting it is.

Now, you can just insert the URL of the video, it will be played in the Video section of the website.

when ever i tried pasteing the Url into the newsfeed and press send, i keep getting an error.
Ross can you shed some light on this?
