Hey Hadi Kamell,

hmm...I just tested posting as admin (on my test site) in the newsfeed and then as admin commented on the post as well. Then I logged out and logged back in as test and tried to delete "admin" post or comment and could NOT do it. I'm running 1.7 with everything up to date...could not delete anything.

Note: This was only tested in the "Newsfeed" area.

Hey drtreet,

As you stated before, you’ll have to wait for the dev team to resolve this issue. The reason I posted that I had no issues on my test site indicates this is an isolated issue with you and not all of us. You can try reproducing your issue on the oxwall demo page http://demo.oxwall.org/to see if you get that same results. If you don’t have an issue on oxwall demo page then it’s your install and not the script itself.

Also its not wise to post the same thing over and over in the forum, the dev team do not like that…just an FYI!

we are waiting for dear dev team.

Any response?! :| where is the developer team ?!

drstreet & Hadi Kamell

They don't respond when you want them to. Actually its up to us to resolve most of the issue by reading here in the forum. Now they do give help but I think you should read this post, (http://www.oxwall.org/forum/topic/5090) it might help you get your answers quicker.

Also its the weekend and I don't think they work on the weekend. You'll have to wait till Monday...but remember there is the release of 1.7.1 on Monday...maybe just update the core to 1.7.1 tomorrow and all will be fine. This core update fixes a lot of issues, just be patience...they will help!

Now if you feel that you need High-End Premium Support (paid service) then you can try this link: http://www.oxwall.org/services but for the most part we do get answers to most issues for free....we just have to be patience and read around from what others have posted here to help resolve an issue or add a custom mod.

hey drstreet,

I can confirm this is NOT a bug within the script its self. I have just updated CORE to 1.7.1 and have updated all plugins and the 5 themes with NO issues. I am using a total of 15 plugins including:

Active Plugins, Activity notifications, Blogs, Events, Friends, Forum, Groups, Image Slideshow, Messages, Newsfeed, Photo, Social media sharing, User Hint, Video player in newsfeed and Video.

Again NO issues that indicates a "SERIOUS BUG" with the script it self. This is an isolated issue with your install only. The test was done in the "NEWSFEED" plugin with NO issues, I could NOT delete others comments or there posts.

hey drstreet,

I'm just demonstrating to the dev team and you that this is an isolated issue and not all of us are experiencing this issue. Try going to this address and see if you can reproduce the same issue. IF you can, take screen (no need for a video) shots and post your results here.

Link to test site: http://demo.oxwall.org/
here you can login as a user or as a "Admin".

dear wilson, i tested the demo version but we don't have this bug there!

but when you download is this link http://www.oxwall.org/download and install then u see there is a bug on your installed version. i tested 1.7 and 1.7.1 on different host too !

i take new video step by step ! download - install - create normal user - delete posts!

i test delete post on four persian popular oxwall site !!! all of them update version too 1.7.1 !!!

hey Drstreet

Ok so if you did not have the bug at the url I suggested (http://demo.oxwall.org/) then its on your end. Could be your server, could be how you installed it...could be many things but one thing is for sure, its NOT a bug with the script if self as it runs fine on my server.

Just have to be patient, one of the dev team will help with your issue.
