Hello, i'm coming from skadate - they kicked out the Master software and replaced it by an "Oxwall + plugins" solution...

I'm now testing this and I have some problems...

When I try to import a language, I have "Empty or invalid language pack. Please select valid one and try again." message...

When I install a plugin, oxwall installs it without language and I have the on the site strings like "privacy+privacy_description".... And when I try to import the language XML file from the plugin ZIP, I have again the error "Empty or invalid language pack. Please select valid one and try again."

And... Is there a way to protect a photo or an album by a password as in Skadate? :-/

For the language problem;

You are not uploading a correct .zip of the language file. If you're going to "Admin" and then "Languages" and uploading it, you need to upload a full language pack that has sub-folders for the plugins it supports. Language packs in plugins are usually just English and only contain the strings for their English translations: developers usually don't include other languages in their packs.

For the second question: no. This would require an internal function or a plugin.

I tried many languages files from here, always the same error... Even when other users write that's OK...

For now, my site is only in english, so why plugin installation does not create strings in the english language?

Simik, can you please contact your hosting provider and find out the max_upload size value on your server?

This is skadate software not oxwall, you need to contact skadate support to resolve your issue.

but it is an oxwall related issue, skadate is only a set of plugins..

This happened to me too (on both Oxwall and Skadate): it turned out that the file "language.xml" was missing.
