Forgot Password not working[Solved] | Forum

A user can't remember their password so they tried the forgot password link. They never get the promised email. I tested it too and no email arrived. I don't have Facebook log in enabled.

I checked the smtp settings, didn't change anything but ran a connection test. It said it couldn't make the connection. Reset the password at my hosting service to the same one I had on Oxwall. The test then worked and back in service. No idea what the hitch was.

Have you resolved the issue after resetting password? If not, please check your cron jobs are properly configured as well.
