lang-dump problem from 1.7.0 to 1.7.1 | Forum

I have a problem, any advice please.

After installing 1.7.1, I uploaded Japanese-lang-dump of 1.7.0.

Then, some new items of untranslated has come out.

For example as follow;

admin+themes_admin_list_cap_title

mailbox+messages_email_notifications_section_label

mailbox+messages_email_notifications_new_message

mailbox+messages_email_notifications_new_chat_message

Also new Japanese admin.xml and mailbox.xml files have included new items above.

So I translated them and uploaded to the 1.7.1.

However no change. The untranslated fields still come out.

I think that the problem might be from the corrupted admin.xml and mailbox.xml.

But admin.xml is too big! I don't want translate it from the beginning.

Any good idea?

admin+themes_admin_list_cap_title is on CHOOSE THEME

in http://202.58.18.21/admin/themes?language_id=4 with Japanese mode.

Others are on NOTIFICATIONS

in http://202.58.18.21/email-notifications?language_id=4 with Japanese mode.

That's because you have not added the translation values for this keys:

you need to go here:

http://202.58.18.21/admin/dev-tools/languages

search for these keys by clicking "in keys" checkbox and add translation in japanese.

OK, its cause has been clearly.

Problem may be the upload function.

Please upload this language file. That contains the correctly translated mailbox.xml is in it.
But the problem will not be resolved.

I just tried that on my test website

anyway, you need to add the translation as in the instructions I provided to you.

I understand want your say.

However it is not easy to find the target in the admin.xml as an example.

Because we cannot found it by the value of "themes_admin_list_cap_title".

Value's not been sorted, there are many garbage values (not using now).

Then the original (English value) to be translated not even come out on the screen.

Very inconvenient.

It's fast to find on a PC rather than looking for 20 pages in admin area.

Please tell me what page number of 33 "Admin dashboard themes" is!

It's terrible work for translators.
