Missing plugin files - Search Plus v.1.0 - Top Search Widget (like Facebook) | Forum

I tried updating this to 7.1 and it totally broke my site, on further investigation all the files in the folder for this are empty, I tried overwriting them in cpanel but it didn't work, after refreshing the files disappeared again, is this a plugin issue or a server side issue?

plugins dont delete files self files then problem is on server side

ok.... figured as much, thanks for replying, the files were there before I updated to 7.1 and gone after.
