How can I manage the site where I only want users to see only posts of users they are connected to in the main feed/newsfeed.......I don't see an option so in the main feed people can see who just signed up or users will see everyone's post........that's a lot of posts to view if there are a lot of active users. I just want users to view posts of their firnds/connections and groups/events/blogs/forums they follow or joined. Please help. Thanks.

You can use newsfeed plugin setting. disable new sign up member. You should have privacy plugin as well.

Also is there a way i can program or setup the widgets on the left/right to go down when a user scrolls down to read or check out the newsfeed or posts.....just like in facebook where the ads on the right of the newsfeed goes down as a user scrolls down when reading newsfeed. Thanks.

what kind of newsfeeds we have:
index newsfeed: for activity of all users of the website
dashboard: for activity of your friends members you follow,
profile: for your activity only
