Photos - Scroll Auto-Load No Longer Works After Server Move | Forum

I upgraded my dedicated server to a stronger, faster dedicated server with the same host. After moving, photos no longer auto load when scroll down.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

EDIT: It actually works, only now, since the server move, you have to scroll all the way down to the bottom, which the sidebar content pushes down about twice as far as the initial amount of videos that load when you first open the page. Once you have scrolled all the way down, and then back up, more videos load, and it's no longer a problem.

It didn't do that before the server move.

Any way to fix it?

Jobee, I'm sorry but it is difficult to understand you issue. First you say about photos, then videos. Can you please provide screenshots or video what is the issue with the loading on your website?

Sorry, I meant photos, not videos. It's all about the photos page.

When you scroll down the photos page, when you get to the end of the initially loaded photos, it automatically loads another bunch of photos. (or it USED TO load another bunch of photos before the server move).

I have a theme with a global sidebar, and I have several items in the global sidebar that pushes the bottom of the page farther down than the first initial load of photos. So there is a big blank area between the initial load of photos, and the bottom of the page, because the sidebar lengthens the page.

It used to be that when you scrolled down to where the first bunch of photos ended, it would load another bunch. But since the server move, it doesn't load more photos unless you scroll all the way to the bottom of the page, then upon beginning to scroll back up, more photos begin loading.

I'm don't think it's that big of a deal, but it's perplexing why that function changed.

can you please test this behavior on the default theme? is it the same? if so, please share your URL and make sure it is open for registration.

If not, you will need to contact theme developer to resolve this issue.

So, Jobee, does the issue persist on the default theme?
