On second look, the restore did absolutely nothing. I tried to restore through softaculous

Stephen, how did you restore your backup?
What files do you have? zip with the software and mysql dump?

I have done a fresh install in a second directory. When I am done migrating the content over I will simply redirect my root to that directory. Seemed easier to me then to try and figure out how much I screwed the site up.
I do have one questions for you. Can I migrate the user information for 3 of my users over to the new database? If it is too difficult and involved I won't bother. If I can go to phpmyadmin and run a few copy commands then I will migrate them over.
