notifications are still send when a user is on site
while they use the site and get notification on site and comment , like etc
post stuff and get likes n comments there email inbox gets smashed by heaps of emails
while the user is on site no notification mails should get sent

Tammy, we cannot reproduce that. Do you have any 3rd party plugins related to the notifications?Have you made any customizations or code modifications in regards of notifications.
