it goes over it sometimes, but the event of the server loads going too high you will see either a 503 or 500 error,

What is your server load ? I think you are no in emu server.

My server is average around 6 or 7 at this time, I am not on the emu server

We are very sorry for the issues that you have had with the server. Any time there is an issue, we do work to make sure it doesn't occur again. Unfortunately a DDoS is not something that can be predicted but we do have policies in place when something like this occurs. The server alerts do stay open after the issue has been dealt with to make sure it has been completely resolved. wow server down again !!! OMG !!! I lost a lot of members because of this unbelievable weak server !! Server down for a long time !! It keeps unstable to let customers feel no good !! Arvixe you have to give me free upgrade to BusinessClass for 1 year. or I have to choose somewhere else.

open a ticket with arvixe, also post on thier forum with the ticket id, the arvixe forum staff i find are great,

bobbi you are not in emu server. Their whole emu server is down !!! Ticket is useless if their server is under attack by DDoS. Every customers on emu server is not able to access their website and cPanel. It causes thousand of people feel frustrated !!! Even I want them to upgrade my emu to BusinessClass for 1 year free. They don't want to !!

i read thier forums all the time, a ticket would ensure a response regarding a refund for the down time or they might migrate you to another server, they should at least do one or the other it is worth a try, last year when my old server was having major problems not a ddos attack though, the forum was the place i got answers

if it was me i would get a ticket opened, then post on arvixe forums with my requests along with the ticket id, or just post on arvixe if you need a ticket they will ask you to create one,

DDOS are hard to predict and even harder to mitigate in some cases. I can assure you we are working our hardest to bring this matter to a resolution for you.

Arvixe is not the only ones having these issues.  I've been using Host For Web for months without issues.  Then back in December HFW moved my content to a new server and January has been hell with 3-critical down days where all of my sites, email accounts and cpanel are inaccessible.  I'm currently down and have been down since yesterday, still waiting for HFW response :(  . I'm thinking that most of the shared servers are not only shared among customers but shared with hosting companies as well.  If I had access to faster network speeds at my location, I would just maintain my own server.....Sick of this!

I can't speak for Host for Web but our Arvixe Servers are not shared with any other hosting company.
