Categories seem to throw up a concerning trend. 2 plugins for oxwall, which feature *very important* categories function get made as stand alone plugins. This means that the plugins will not be comparable with other plugins that extend the feature set of the base plugin.

Is there something about the oxwall platform that prevents categories being added to a plugin like 'blogs' without having to fork the plugin?

This trend is not good for customers, in my opinion.
