I've seen a lot of discussion about it (just to tell that i've searched before posting) but i did not found what i was looking for except for this thread that was...ehm... not so clear :)

http://www.oxwall.org/forum/topic/28357

Posting with my logo is ok... pretty simple. What i would do is: if i want to forward a post in the forum or just a profile how i could let FB or G+ (for example) read and get info from post instead of linking something like it was just the home page?

there's any tool?

I saw some social sharing plugins that permit users to send the link to their social but what i would do is what 80% of users usually do.. just copy the link and paste it into the newsfeed of other social.

There's any solution?

Sorry for bothering ;)

Regards

Now, the system works in such way.
For example, if you insert a link of your forum into social sites such as FB, G+ they will grab the forum title, description and image.

Probably, you want to post at Facebook entire post instead post link. In this way there is no such default functionality and you can use a plugin. I'm not sure if there some existing plugin but you can try searching one in our Store. Or you can find a third-party developer: http://www.oxwall.org/market/specialists who can develop this plugin for you.

this is what i receive when i post a link of the forum on facebook or g+

(attachment)

when i try to post link of a profile or something else it just writes the meta tag of the web site like if it is the main page.

i was just wondering if there's a plugin to solve this or it's just custom modification or an obvious expansion of future versions of oxwall ;)

We've tested all the ways to post the forum links to Facebook and it seems a Facebook cache issue.
But, first of all make sure that forum topics are visible to guests in Admin Area> Privacy & Permissions> Roles section.

If everything is OK with privacy, it means the problem is in the Facebook cache.
Check it by using this method -just add? V = 1 at the end of the forum posted url. Any number can be used in place of one .
For example: http://YOURSITENAME.COM/forum/topic/1?v=1
It will create an unique url which haven't had cached by Facebook.

If this solves your issue, use this link to clear your Facebook cache: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug

If there is still the issue, please, PM me the link you try to post in Facebook.
