Internal server error after 1.3 update at Oxwall Software Forum

you should make a backup of all files prior to updating so that you may restore your site if things go wrong

Yes, i was able to access this, but after i update group via admin/plugins/add

all links are affected of 500 :-(

which was your last plugin.Is that groups ? if group than rename it's folder before go to admin panel

For all who are getting error "Error 500 Internal Server Error"
Do uninstall the newsfeed plugin than check website. and update newsfeed plugin.

@Brijesh:
I did what you said with the the newsfeed plugin and everything worked out. Next I had the "brilliant" ideea to update manually the rest of the plugins(groups, friends ...) uploaded them to ow-plugins folder and then my whole site goes Internal server error 500. I feel so angry about myself that I didn't do a backup.

If you could give me even a little advice, you'll kinda be my superhero.

groups plugin is causing this error just rename it or uninstall it and once you have the page pulled up that asks you to update the group plugin restore the group plugin fuile to original name or reinstall it and click update and all is well

Had the same error. I had to delete the Groups plugin and reload the admin page. When it prompted me to update Groups, I then uploaded it to the plugins folder and the update went smoothly. Thanks for everyone's help!

I have had the same problem, for me it is definitely the newsfeed causing the problem..when i deactivated it the site worked, when i uninstalled it the site worked, but when i activated it it appeared on the site but when i went to leave a message the site went back to a 500 internal server error....I then deleted the plugin from the plugins folder, re-downloaded it from the store and uploaded it again and i still have the same problem......Please help i really need it...I am back to using status update and latest activity plugin ---

Also Facbook contact importer doesnt seem to work...when i click it it opens facebook in a new window and asks me to sign in, when i do the window just closes - need help guys

Got the facebook contact importer working however the window that shows your facebook friends appear to the right of the webpage out of the screen - anybody else have this problem? Oh and the newsfeed guys need help on that one
