I've been using this theme but the Author released an "update" in the last day or so, when I updated it it's bugged. I've tried uninstalling and rolling back but the errors are still there, how do I roll back properly?

I got it figured out. You do what you suggested, but you also have to put the site in debug mode to clear the cache.

When you are customizing the themes you need to enable DEV_MODE to see your changes, as it recompiles and clears cache of the website.
