I found invite in admin panel, browse users there is a button there. Don't know if there is a member invite area though. Seems sensible to have one.

I cannot see the Invite friends feature.

Seems an awful lot of work and configuring just to get an invite link!
Also, facebook doesn't like certain URLs it considers as "spammy" like DYNDNS or other derivitives so creating the fb app may not work. Haven't tried goggles yet.
Besides, when looking for an invite plugin, seeing a contact importer plugin doesn't steer me in the right direction.
