But it seem like those methods not working for oxwall 1.7
For the first one, init.php file of "Blogs" plugin doesn't contain "$content = nl2br( UTIL_String::truncate(strip_tags($post->post), 150, '...') );"
How can I find it under oxwall 1.7?

Frank Zhang, if you mean this solution: http://www.oxwall.org/forum/topic/14916?page=1#post-75376 in new 1.7 versions you should change the /ow_plugins/blogs/classes/event_handler.php file instead of the init.php file.
