My IP address is being block after I installed oxwall version 3.1. It blocks it regardless of the computer or the internet service being used.

The tech at www.pacifichost.com have unblocked it seven times since last Friday, but it get blocked again after a few minutes of loading the page. Also I am getting a "you have not permission to upload video" when embedding youtube videos to the site.

I had this happen to me today. I am with Arvixe and i have business class hosting.

They said it was due to too many connections.

It has only happened once to me but will keep an eye on it now.

i think debug or dev mode is enabled by default.  Check your config.php and make sure they are both at false.  That can generate extra traffic.  Try that.  If it persists, unfortunately you may need to get a new host/dedicated server.  shared hosting can be unfriendly to hi resource sites like oxwall when in full swing.

My oxwall site is in ARVIXE ( shared hosting). I have about 200 active users. I upgraded to version 1.3 without any problem. I think it is not a hosting problem.

Also depends on if IM is enabled and any other plugins that reference the database.m  There are a few factors that can bump up the resources causing the host to consider suspending.

I switched from www.pacifichost.com to www.arvixe.com and the  IP ADDRESS BLOCKED BY SERVER IS is not longer happening. Also, ERROR 500 AND 404 HAVE VANISHED. It seems that that www.pacifichost.com does not have all the requirement to host Oxwall. Anyway, I have to say that they have an excellent support service and very fast servers. They will be a good choice if they manage to get Oxwall working 100% right.

Thanks to all of you who tried to help me.
Regards,
Leo
