Posts in News Feed can't be commented on. Anyone know why? [Solved] | Forum

I'm new with Oxwall, but I am pretty sure I've been rather thorough with the settings. When someone posts to the wall, there is no option shown for other users to comment on that wall post.

Things I've tried to fix it:

Admin > Privacy and Permissions > Roles
I've made sure to Allow status updates comments.

I'm running version 1.7.2 (Build 8520)

Admin > Plugins > Installed Plugins > News Feed > Settings

I've made sure to Enable comments here.

I don't see anything else that pertains to the activity feed anywhere. Does anyone have a clue what could be going on?

the wall is separate from the newsfeed, the wall you have never been able to comment or like posts for as long as i can remember, i dont use the wall on user profiles they just have newsfeed where of course you can comment and like,
