Mass Email Not Working After I Enable SMTP and Disable It | Forum

Mass emailing and notification was working properly before I touch the smtp setting. I did this because gmail reported that the from gmail that I was using to send out mass email is Phising. I disabled gmail smtp because connection test failed, and now I can't send out mass email nor receive notification anymore.

Please help. Thank you.

Never mind it seems to be working now ... What I did differently is entered "..." in the host field and "port" in the port field, and secure connection turned off. Before that I had it as smtp.gmail.com and port 465 and secure connection TSL. Seems like even if I had disabled SMTP, the host and port field must be a generic value and secure connection must be set to "Off".
