I haven't found this question in search although I am sure it is there. Is there a way to use say @member format to notify a member that they were mentioned?

kind of like a hashtag no not that i am aware of, i just did a look in the plugins and did not find anything either.

Bugger. I have used it in Loomio, in buddypress it is called @mentions. It is very useful if you want to notify someone they are involved in some way in the conversation.
