i am a rookie to web developing with some basic knowledge with html, css ,php ,my sql i want to develop video upload plugin for ox wall experts give me idea should i go for it.

IMO i would not jump on the video plugin as my first plugin project.  And personally i dont think a basic knowledge of those languages will be enough.   In the old days yes a basic knowledge would work, but now days with all the special codecs, the moov atom issues and all of the other video interactions and dependencies, as well as browser process differences, it is a much more complicated process. 

 

I do applaud the enthusiam but until you get a real vast working knowledge doing plugins as well as languages i would stick to more experience related projects.
