Extreme Image Distortion | Forum

Okay so I'm going to try my best to show and explain whats happening here. I've given this problem to everyone on I know, college students in graphic design, art majors, etc. no one knows whats going on here.

The images I provide below depict whats happening to my original images when uploaded and viewed on my site.

For reference all my pictures are PNG. I never save to any other format unless necessary.

So if anyone would tell me what the heck is happening and how to fix it that'd be great. And hey don't judge, please!

And yes I'm sorry if this isn't really the place for it, but i wasn't sure where else to go with it.

Actually the image is partially distorted on your version too, grant it not as bad as my version. the gold triangles are supposed to have a soft glow that fades out where as your screencap shows the glow around the triangles being a solid mass.

Well, this is related to the GD library we use in our software it does not allow transparent or semi transparent images. Please check these posts:

THe posts you gave explain the problem and how to change the JPG background color when it is converted, but Is there any work around for this so it will support transparent PNGs? It's rather annoying, specially for a site the uses many transparent images...

B.I. this is a complicated custom code modification of the software core, you will need to do that on your own or hire a programmer. You can do that here: http://www.oxwall.org/market/specialists
