Tammy, did you check this functionality at our demo?
If everything is correct on our demo the problem may be in third-party plugins. Disable all the third-party plugins and explore whether there will be the issue if you change your site theme to the Origin default theme.
If the issue still persist, then provide us with the list of exact steps we should follow to reproduce the issue.

themes did same problem and i see few other posting on the same problem

i managed to make in work by enable disables few times and is showing on the page now but if i deactivate it now breaks the page

i had tryed that fix but not working 
on uninstall plugins trying to find the mobile chat error when i deactivated birthdays plugin 
the age range problem fixed, activate it i got the problem again

i uninstalled the plugin and reinstalled it and the problem is fixed now
