I have had this for a while with the new version 1.7.3 and it will not accept valid email addresses.

Stuart, be sure you entered a valid email which does not contains an excess characters. Check whether you can register this email on our Demo. If the issue still persist, please give as an example of such email.

I tried all sorts from my usual gmail to hot@dog.com
Something not right somewhere are the profile fields where changing maybe database dunno.
I have been doing some work on a local install just going to reinstall and get back to you.
