I am new to oxwall, today I have just downloaded the latest version of oxwall (1.7.2). I have experienced few issues during the installation, but they were all solved. However there is one now I still don't have any clue.

When I clicked change avatar on User Profile page, a pop-up box shown up. That is cool, but when I dragged a jpeg picture(263kb) in, what I can see was only the animated spinner but there was no any image appeared, and error 'Failed to load resource: net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE' also displayed in my browser console, the post url is 'http://oxwall-demo/base/avatar/ajax-responder/' (this is my localhost)

I locally installed oxwall in my laptop, so I can't give you url as I don't have one

can any one help me?

if the pic is too small, I will recieve an error message saing "it is too small".

It is not about the size of pic. If I choose exactly same pic from album as profile pic, it works, but if I upload the

 pic, it doesn't. any clue?

I didn't install any 3rd party plugins. All plugins I am using now all are default plugins.

I'm sorry Tao, the latest version is 1.7.3 and we just tried to reproduce the issue on our demo and test websites, however we couldn't.

Such issue existed in the previous version of the software. Can you please make sure you have 1.7.3 installed?

I have double checked today, the version is the latest one (1.7.3), not 1.7.2.

It works if I directly choose the same pic from album, but it doesn't work if I upload the same one.

It might be helpful if I can leave var_dump somewhere to see the variable values. But I don't know where I should leave it.

Before you said that you can't drag and drop image, all you got is spinning.

Do you have both issues now?

As it is local installation we can't do much for in terms of assistance.

Are you sure you don't get any error in the console?

Are you using firefox firebug console or any other console? If so, try firefox
