Dirk as you website is https you need to go here: ow_plugins/tinychat/views/controllers/page_index.html and change the link of script source to https, this should fix the issue

My site is HTTPS and Tiny Chat is not working so I have done the above, "Dirk as you website is https you need to go here: ow_plugins/tinychat/views/controllers/page_index.html and change the link of script source to https, this should fix the issue" but Tiny Chat still does not work!

Any other ideas?

Guys, let me explain how this plugin works: We just allow to embed the js code TinyChat provides: http://tinychat.com/js/embed.js through the ow_plugins/tinychat/views/controllers/page_index.html file.

In case you have SSL enabled on your site you need to change the protocol from to in the URL: https://tinychat.com/js/embed.js

If you open the chat http://your_site_URL/tinychat and receive the blank page - you should check if the Adobe FlashPlayer is installed and active for your browser.

If you open the chat http://your_site_URL/tinychat and receive the error Connection failed or just 'Connecting' message - this means that the problem is on the tinychat service end.

To be sure that the TinyChat works for you - go to their official site: http://tinychat.com/login >> login or create a new account > click your username at the top-right corner of the screen >> click the 'My Chat Room'

If the chat room does not open - this means the problem with the connection between you and their server and it has nothing to do with the plugin we provide.

If the chat room opens for you on their official site, but won't load at your site, the problem may be connected to the integration methods the provides.

In both cases we can do a little here since cannot affect the chat functionality in no ways.

In the second case we can check what can cause the problem. However, first of all we need to reproduce the problem which is possible on your site only. That's why we ask for the access details.

Mark, if you can reproduce this issue at our demo site and provide us with the step-by-step instructions - we will do our best to find and solve this problem.

I check it again, and now i check it from different browsers. And first i check it only in chrome browser, where it wont work, In browsers Firefox and Edge it works fine. So chat dont connect only in Chrome

Can you please share your URL?
Make sure tiny chat plugin is enabled and site is open for guests and registration, so I could check the Chrome browser issue.

we tested both in Chrome and Firefox and we get can't connect message in both browsers, seems like the issue is on their side. See reply:
