no, Arvixe had to restore my data base. Its shocking that downloading a plugin gives your website so many problems.

I'm sorry to here that, I had the same issue with a plugin who crashed my website. That's how I was able to put it back online.

Marie, the database restoring is an extreme option. Basically, you don't need to do this. You just need to deactivate the plugin that is causing the error. If you can't access Admin Area you may do it  via the database.
For example, my "Photo" plugin is causing the error and I can't login to admin panel anymore.
I go to my database>>find "ow_base_plugin" table>>within this table find "Photo" plugin>>click "edit" >>set " isActive" to 0 .

0=deactivated plugin
1=activated plugin

How do you find your database? i am not an expert in c/panel.
