Is there a solution to this yet? I have been searching the forums and still not found how I can add alt image tags.

generally yes, however it depends and  the last word rests with the oxwall team, whether the implementation of this feature is worth it or it is just an individual request

yes theres links to uservoice on that page but that page is behind other pages

go and ask some one that does not use oxwall to visit the site and read the features suggested by oxwall users

it would take them a few hours to find it

Guys, if you want to know the information on what will be implemented in the next update - where would you go to see it? I guess to the Roadmap section, am I right?

If you decide to suggest a feature - you will definitely find the link to our suggest board or at least post your question/suggestion at our support forum where our operators will be glad to direct you to the right place for the suggestions.

Howdy,

So the recommendation is that if there are things that we were told would happen with regards to internal changes that have not been done, then we should ask in the support forum, is that correct?

I only ask not to get off the subject but because im thinking when users are told something will happen or we find something that needs fixed, there has to be list or a status of those items somewhere, maybe not public, but someplace, can you confirm please :)

Dave, this topic was created as the suggestion for the images ALT attribute. This is what I was talking about. If you do not know where to post a suggestion - just ask us at the forum and we will be glad to help you to find the right place or check our roadmap.
For this suggestion, no one told that it will be implemented in the upcoming releases. You were suggested to vote for this feature that will let us set its priority higher in our dev plan - the bigger the score, the higher the priority.

We have private list of  the most important and essential features and do our best to timely release them.

Also, we have public list of the features which are in development or will be developed in the upcoming releases - you can find it here: http://www.oxwall.org/roadmap

alt images would be so easy to fix

simple have the images description auto have (image by {username} )
if nothing is inputted into the description textra box

2 lines of code to fix the problem

and to go a bit more n make it inject the  (image by {username} )
into already empty photo description

Daisy,

Understood :)  and again it was not my intention to jump ship on the topic of the thread.  I was mearly asking a question which i considered prudent to the subject as well regarding the process to follow in such cases.   I will certainly post another thread in order to be more specific in my question as to not interfere with this topic.   My apologies for not being clearer with my message :)
