Cannot translate in French the new profile questions [Solved] | Forum

Hi! I searched the forum but didn't find any problem like this one so I post it in hope of getting a solution.

I am translating my site in French. But I made a lot of new profile questions in English. My main site is in English. But I want to give the option to have French too.

When I translate in the Administration panel all goes well when I click the "Save this page" button for most of the pages. But, when I have the new profile questions items in the page, it doesn't save at all. I get a "page not available" problem.

The code for an item looks like this:

I am from{text key='base+questions_question_field_fde003eede91105f832cb0676ce21e73_label'}

I could always make two sets of questions, one for English people and another one for French, but I would like for French people to fill up the questions in French and they could also be read in English by another user.

Anybody has an idea of what the problem is ?

Thanks

Nathalie, the best way to translate the profile questions is to do it via Admin Area > Settings > Language section. Choose French language, find needed profile question and translate.  If you translate in such way and faced issues, have a look at this tips: https://skatips.wordpress.com/...-language-key-value/ .

Or if I misunderstood you please, give more details.

So, my hosting service made the changes, that is increasing my limit of suhosin to 1024, but now I cannot access my website. I wrote them back to see if they can fix that. Do you have an idea of what the problem could be ?
