you need to truncate ow_newsfeed_action_set table in your database. do the search on the forum or check FAQ section SQL state errors section, you can find detailed instructions how to do that.

They said can use old version. But  how to downgrade the plugin to old version?

You cannot downgrade to the older version, Ross says the older application will still work, however if you try to configure new one it will give the error you have guys.

So there's no fix? 

I mean, I blame Facebook of course. They need to quit changing crap.

After 1.7.1 -> 1.7.2 update the plugin stop work, and there's two problems.

#1 - There's a fail in APP ID and Secret input. Already did a new app from scratch. Same problem. Where is recorded this data, at database?

#2 - Create a new instalation with 1.7.2 straight, configure the plugin (seems to accept the id and secret), when i try to connect using facebook the following message showed:
