so I bought a vps server and was doing my import for my site but then I got a 500 error and now my site only has its index page nothing more any clues on whats going on here?

nevermind after a lot of work around it has been fixed

how did you fix this.

well I just reinstalled however since then I found out that it was the .htaccess file so just reupload your .htaccess to the route folder of your site and this should fix it if not as I said I performed a full install again
