Just a thought - But I wondered how many site owners edit the core plugins and add some level of customisation to them?

It occured to me that all the core plugins (and well, any plugin) shoudl probably have the option to insert a custom html widget - so that we can add our own bits to the plugin pages, without having to mod files.

Does that make sense to others?

I just add a custom HTML widget in the sidebar but yes it does make sense to allow people as much customisation as possible.

Good idea! Yeah that makes sense. I have a site, with a no sidebar theme. So it would be great to be able to have a top bar :) Which I could have a widget in.

You can put HTML code in the custom header code box in SETTINGS, MAIN SETTINGS, PAGE SETTINGS. anything put in the top or bottom box will appear on all pages.
