Resizing header image in showcase theme | Forum

Firstly, is there a way to find out the exact size of the image used as the header background?

Secondly, does the theme not automatically resize your image to fit?

I created a header for my website but when I upload it it cuts half of it off...

Any help will be much appreciated....

I have added an attachment to show you.The header is only half of it.

Alan, the exact size of header image in ShowCase theme is 996 x 400 px.
Header has fixed size that's why the system doesn't automatically resize image but cuts the image that would match the size of default.
So, you may use image size parameters as defined above or you may change header size in Admin Area>Appearance>Edit Theme>CSS tab by using custom CSS code.
