"Data Importer" Plugin missing... | Forum

I'm going to try to make a second post here from another account, as my first account was instasuspended falsely because, I'm assuming a link in my post triggered a bot? I won't link this time. I'd normally wait to be unsuspended but I don't really have time, since wallfm is shutting down all its communities in an undisclosed amount of time.

I'm transferring from Wallfm to oxwall with another host. wallfm only allows backup saving through the Data Exporter. Problem is, I need the correct plugin, Data Importer, to import that data. Data Importer is missing from the plugin store. it's usually item ID 40, but it's missing. all that remains is the CSV importer and, as I mentioned, wallfm doesn't give me CSVs to work with, only the zip from the data exporter. does anyone have a data importer backed up? or was it mistakenly removed from the store?

Could really use some assistance on this... No one at oxwall/wallfm has gotten back to me. Does anyone have the plugin backed up?

Update: I was provided with the plugin backup file. It only works with 1.6.0 though, which I had to retrieve from oxwall personally (or find from digging through an old link).

Jess, as far as I know these plugins are out of date and not compatible with the newest Oxwall software versions. In case you need them to transfer your site from Wall.fm to Oxwall platform, you should contact Wall.fm team and they will provide you with the information on how to get these plugins. And in any cases connected with Wall.fm transfer it would be better to contact Wall.fm support team directly.

We always work on improving our software, add new features, do bug fixes.
This is the reason why we strongly recommend using the latest Oxwall software version and keep your website updated. And that is why you can find only latest version of our software in the download section.
But nevertheless, if you need the oldest packs of Oxwall software, then please send request to moderation_team@oxwall.org and they would be happy to help you.

I got access to 1.6.0 by editing a dl link on the oxwall download page, got lucky I guess. I would have loved to keep my site up to date and use the proper plugins, but I was incredibly limited by wall.fm's services. I could not import plugins or update the site- that was for the provider to access alone.

I said above, I was provided the zip from wall.fm and was able to get things running. Granted it was after numerous migraines from having to learn all this at once without anyone directly assisting me, but I got it. :/
