i just noticed something on my site,after i made some changes(i will mention the change at the end of this post),when i log in it says authentication successfull,but i can still see sign in and signout at the top ,even if i refresh its still the same,the change i made was i changed the cron job to run every 5 minutes,can this affect it or if its not the problem,what could be the issue ? Thanks in advance for your inputs

Donald, changing cron running to 5 minutes has nothing to do with the issue.
Can you please share your url? make sure it is open for registration
Do you have any caching plugin installed on the website?
Do you have any caching system installed on the server?
If so disable them and see if the issue persists.
