i posted in this before and have searched but can not find it
i have been to busy to look at it but finaly i have spent few hours
watching the error mails and db cron run time stamps

i have seen another post on someone have trouble there site slow down every hour i dont know if this is the same problem or not
but every hour i get huge amounts of excessive use from cron run php
of memory and process time

i get others in betwwen but every hour on the hours well 3 minutes past   to 7 minutes past every hour my server goes crazy on mailing me for the
memory usage and process time that cron run takes

going by the time stamps
24228013 BASE_Cron::resetCronFlag
is the main problem
