Hello,

One of our members used a broken code and now their entire profile is nothing but a black screen, I'm wondering which part to delete in the cpanel as I'm sure it's ow_base_component_place_cache but too worried about deleting everything on there in case it wrecks the site.

Thanks.

Clearing ow_base_component_place_cache won't ruin your site

Have you deleted this broken code from ow_base_component_setting table? Did you find it?

Alright thanks Ross.
No I couldn't find it in the ow_base_component_setting section.

Deleting the ow_base_component_place_cache did nothing to solve the problem.
I don't even know where to start in finding the code on that box.

Ask the user what code he used and locate it in the

ow_base_component_setting table in the value column then delete it from there

I believe he inserted it in the custom html widget. If not, ask the user where and what he inserted

Are you sure he inserted it in the custom html widget? Where did he insert the code? If it is custom html widget PM me your phpmyadmin access details and access details of that user and the code he used , I will check the issue,
