I will be allowing users to post stories on my site. For now, I think I will be using an advanced blog plugin so there can be multiple levels of categories for them to pick when they post because that's better than nothing. I have looked around and not seen a story archive plugin.
However, I would be excited to buy a story archive plugin if one ever was made (or if I hired someone, depending on how costly that would be). It would be nice to have preset genres, ratings, etc that authors could pick from them when posting so that stories are categorized and easily searchable. Being able to post multi-chapter stories with the chapters tied to each other would be desirable as well.
Does anyone have any idea of how involved it would be to create something like that? Or what are you using on your sites to allow story posting?

I'd be interested in such a plugin as well. Currently, I'm looking at Advanced Blogs Plugin to do a similar functionality but need to do some customization. If someone is starting a project like this, I may be on board as a potential buyer.

Musik, I bought the Advanced Blogs Plugin. However, it isn't quite what I was hoping for. The screenshot that shows multiple levels of categories is in the admin area only. :/ Users still can only pick a single category when posting a blog. At least there is a category instead of only tags, but I would want at minimum two categories (preferably four).
