you will need to ask the plugin dev but even he is a oxwall teem member 
dont cross your finger on getting an answer in the next few years 

i showed him this problem 2 years ago and he has done nothing about it 

you will quickly learn around here just about everything is done half assed
and it wont take you long to realise that pulling your own teeth out is more fun 

and no dev will even think of doing it as oxwall core does not do it 
dam even photos plugin dont do it 
if the core has no coding standards theres no way in hell dev will follow coding standards

even it against every webmaster guidelines  

its one of googles pet hates is missing alt tags on images 
as it makes screen reader for blind people get lost 
maybe oxwall has a thing about blind ppl lol

i feel they should take away the smiley plugin from oxwall store if it not follow SEO standard and the developer stop responding.

I feel right now i have 2 option delete my smileys that i added or 

a oxwall team member guide me how to add alt attribute on my new smileys 

that should bee easy to guide if you expert in coding because i find my images in my cpanel and google to find my images

so this should bee easy to solve if you a team member at oxwall.

well yes it would be it would take them all of 3 minutes to fix alt images on photots
and maybe 7 on smileys plugin
