Die gibt es, da ja die library wideimage verwendet wird. Mir ist nur nicht klar, an welchen Dateien ich was verändern muss.
Es hat mich auch ca. einen halben Tag gekostet, herauszufinden, wo ich die JPG-Kompression von 100% runtersetzen kann.
Für das nächste Release würde ich vorschlagen, dass man das defaultmäßig auf 60-70% setzt. Noch besser wäre es natürlich, wenn man das im Backend einstellen kann.
Hintergrund ist der:
Ich hatte ein Quellbild in 2048x1536px und ~140kb.
Das wurde dann runterskaliert auf 640x480 (meine Eintellung im Adminbackend), es hatte aber auf dem Server über 160kb Platz verbraucht. Eben wegen der 100% Speicherqualität.
Das ist Speicherverschwendung (mehr Last auf dem Server UND die Seiten bauen sich langsamer auf), da man ja aus der sichtbaren Qualität x eines JPGs keine bessere machen kann. Weißt du, was ich meine?
Und genau den Eintrag hatte ich in einer der configdateien von WideImage gefunden.
