After update 1.73 -> 1.8 plug-in update problem[Solved] | Forum

This is what I get. 
Only plug-in without this is Oxwall Backup Genie, which needs no updating.

What plugin are you trying to update?

i have that problem but i thought was to do with folder permissions 

the last 4 or 5 plugins have give that error on update
and strange thing is if you download the plugin and use admin add plugin the plugin gets uploaded and you get the update database message

Yes, it's still very same. Site is HTTP.

Pm me your access details to the FTP and admin access details for the server, I'll take a look at the issue.

uncomment


extension=php_openssl.dll


in your php.ini file and restart apache server


see if the issue persists after that

There was no such line.

Instead of that... I just uncommented

extension=openssl.so, and that let me in to FTP page,

which said FTP was not available.

I uncommented extension=ftp.so, and 
I just updated video plugin!

Great, we tried to update blog plugin on your website and it was successful. The issue is resolved.

I turned the debug on.... tadaa, all warnings and such just disappeared!!!
