Internal server error is a server related error you need to contact your hosting provider to resolve the issue.

How did you figure that there's DDOS attacks and your site was being attacked?

I think it is hard to secure your website from ddos attacks anyway.

For example you have the server which can handle 200 user online.

I, as a hacker, create a program, which simulates 250 users registration and after registration they start to PM to each other, any server with the capacities of handling 200 users online will go down, so basically any server can be attacked with the traffic load that it can't handle, you will need to hire a company which provides services to prevent such attacks. you can take a look here: https://www.google.com/...;espv=2&ie=UTF-8

Quote from Kяuncн You also have 3 connection errors, CHECK HERE

once you have fixed these  try
https://loadimpact.com/
you will be surprised a lot of server setups will fail the simple test for not joined members
if you join you can run test up to 100 VUs  for free

while run the test monitor your server to find what is fail  cpu ram  sql

once you have your server set to handle the free 100 Vus then you can add more to find more problems

heres my test at 100 VUs
my server at the start page load times went to 3.5 seconds then flattened out to 2 seconds
i was cheating a bit and run 2 tests at same time from 2 accounts lol

Nowadays it is a common thing that the servers are under some kind of Brute Force (SSH, WEB, FTP,..) attack NONSTOP. Make sure you have Fail2ban installed on your server and also anti Brute Force oxwall plugin.

I don't think that your server is under targeted DDOS attack. I think, there is no reason for the massive DDOS attack on small sites:)

Thats not fully true,

I own a radio site with around 300 listeners peak a day. We get a DDOS attack atleast 3 times a week, Unlucky we have protection and i get an email everytime someone tries.

Look at OVH Onur, Depending on your budget you can get a VPS or dedicated server.
