I bought the User photo verification plugin for my site.  It's a popular feature that members want me to keep and that it's also important to me to have as well.  However, there are definitely things wrong with it.

The biggest issue--and the one we haven't managed to sort out yet--is that non-verified users cannot properly edit their profiles (cannot fill out the "about me" box, cannot view their tabs, and cannot reply to profile wall comments though ostensibly they have permission to do so).

I'm curious if anyone here has had any success modifying/fixing this particular plugin?  Or do you use something different on your site to accomplish the same task of verifying users?
