Use case: a user goes into his Profile Pictures album and wants to use one of his old avatars again. He selects the Save as avatar option, then it allows him to crop the photo. After cropping, the full image is duplicated and there are two of the exact same profile picture in the album. Which also means two different places to comment on the same picture.

I was considering removing the "Set as avatar" button, but then this defeats the entire purpose of saving the history of a user's profile pictures. It would make sense if the picture was in another album and then was duplicated to their Profile Pictures album after saving it. But it should not do that if it's an image within the Profile Pictures album.
