I know about this. But this plugin does not work because it uses the real name. But this twitter plugin uses the username with the @ function

I'd also love to see this function. I am unhappy with the other one at the store for the same reasons. (Real name vs username)

This plugin together with @autocomplete plugin are using value set in Admin->User Settings ->Show profile name as:
If Real names option is selected @autocomplete will show list of @Realnames, if Username, then @Usernames.
The issue with real names though is that they do not have to be unique, may have spaces, etc, i.e.
